I really love Android phones. I had a HTC Incredible for 2 years at Verizon but destroyed it with a dumb bell in the gym. I found a great deal for the S2 which is a big improvement for only $9.99 with 2 year contract (AT&T). Just to make sure, is there any advice/tips you guys have for the S2? I don't want to run into any problems in the future.
I plan on rooting it (http://galaxys2root.com/galaxy-s2-root/how-to-root-att-galaxy-s2-sgh-i777/) and installing the ICS 4.0 ROM ([ROM]<=TASK650's ICS'd OUT! V9=>[JKayMOD,BRAVIA ENGINE,ICS ANIMS,BLN,ECT...](12-20) - xda-developers). I need tethering.
Is that link the best to follow for rooting?
Are there any precautions I should take?
What are the best extended battery solutions?
