Help Getting service to work with foreign ROM

Today morning my vanilla Android had suddenly bricked, recovery mode had some error about /esp so I downloaded a rom from Sammobile and used Odin to boot to it and the phone worked again, yay.

Now the ROM was apparently from Hong Kong, I switched it to English but it doesn't seem to recognize my SIM at all so the services don't work.

I'm from Finland and my ISP is DNA, there isn't a single finnish ROM in Sammobile and couldn't find anywhere else, could for example Swedish ROM work with my provider? How does one get regular services to work with custom rom?

My device is Galaxy S III GT-I9305

I don't know if sammobile.com contains radio firmwares (modems)?
Maybe you can find one of them for your carrier/country?

The generic Nordic 4.4.4 firmware should work fine; iirc the baseband (radio firmware) is usually common across all European versions. It can be downloaded here.
