Help Getting SMS tone OFF Galaxy Note

Hi all, my first post so please be gentle!

Also, not sure if I've posted this in the correct topic, and it might seem like a silly request, but I really like the Knock SMS tone on my Note.

So much, that my wife would like it on her iphone.

Is there a way to get the SMS file from the Note? The phone is standard at the moment.

Thanks in advance!!!

You can get a app like ES File Explorer and try to find the sound in the /system/media directory (assuming it's there). But without root, I don't know if you'll be able to find it. System files are usually hidden, for security purposes.

If you want the sound file, you might be able to find it in a Google search. Or, if push comes to shove, you could download a Note ROM from the Galaxy Note - All Things Root - Android Forums section and just pull the sound file out of the ROM and then delete the ROM.

Cheers, I've tried ES explorer but it doesn't give me any different files than the 'My Files' app.

Also, there appears to be no ROMs on the link for the Note, so I don't think I can do it there either.

Is there any other suggestions? Or can anyone with a Rooted phone email me the file for the knock SMS tone???

I might be missing something then, in the ES explorer, what is the file path that I am looking for?

Don't know about ES Explorer, but if you download 'Astro' file manager free from the market it allows you to search 'knock', I just tried it and got the *.ogg file you're looking for: tap&hold the file and you've got options to send it via Message/Email/BT etc etc
