Hello there. I've ordered an HTC Wildfire from T-Mobile,due to have it monday. I have a few general queries before I begin to use it. If anyone can advise with the following, I'd be grateful.
1) After reading up on the Wildfire, it seems I would have better battery life, running speed and ability save apps on an SD card if I update to 2.2 ('Froyo'?). I would like to know how common some of the issues are that I have read about when people update? For example, screen becoming unresponsive, net access being lost etc. Is it worth (the risk) updating? I'd hate to end up with an unresponsive phone the first day I own it
2) If I was to update, would I be covered by my warranty if I experienced such issues? The update is 'ok' to do, yes?
3)I have read that the internal memory on the Wildfire is pretty small. Would the 2GB SD card I already have be sufficient for storing a moderate (say around 15-20) apps so my phone can just concern itself with texts and such?
4) Any other hints/tips a Wildfire/Android newbie should know when starting out? Am looking forward to enjoying Android but am not looking forward to the prospect of any potential complications while I figure oiut how to get set up and running with ease!
Thanks for taking the time to read the thread, apologies for all the questions!

I've been hoping that I don't bugger up my first android phone!
