Root Getting Texts From Verizon...

After rooting and Custom Rom on my phone I keep getting text msgs from Verizon Just codes of some kind how do I stop these I get 2 -3 per day... Anyone else getting this.....

Do they say something about VZW PIN? I know if you use a third party messenger, it will show you codes that the system sends to your phone behind the scenes. The stock messenger must be coded to ignore them but Handcent shows them to me. I think they are used with the Email app.

I'm using the stock messaging I just talked to someone from verizon and they said they were from backup assistant plus that I could log on an turn off the messages..
here's what the messages look like from 6250 text is vzwnmn:2 I will have to wait till I get home on my PC to check it out tho..

I was getting those also and I called vzw support and they was able to stop them from coming. I'm using a non rooted phone.

All I Had To Do Was log Into My Account And remove Backup Assistant Plus, It Is A free Service, And even After I Removed It From My Features It Still Works On My Phone...I just use it To back Up My Contacts..... But it did Stop The text Messages!!!

I "HAD" Verizon and got NEW phones, that use Total Wireless and I constantly get these texts from Verizon! I just blocked that Number that I was getting those texts from.
