Help GF can easily see my deleted text messages - NOT GOOD - How?

Sorry to post another topic on a beaten issue... but I cant seem to find the info for this situation on the HTC Incredible... many other phones, yes, but not my phone. M GF can somehow see my deleted text messages on my HTC Incredible... and this is NOT good, i am no cheater, but she doesnt need to know my every conversation either. I will have less explaining to do... and it will save me much aggrivation... anyone know how she can easily see my deleted texts?? She says to me "Hahaha... you just move them when u delete them"
."... She isnt very ....tech-savy ...lol... but she has got me beat on this issue..lol
 
I don't know of any way to see deleted texts on the incredible. Are you using the stock messaging app?

There are also apps like SMS cleaner to be sure.

Yes, I am using the stock messaging app. I am also 100% sure she can see them once i have deleted them. I had a conversation with a friend, and i deleted a few individual messages from the message thread, and she was able to see those deleted texts.... because she confronted me with it. Bah. Is it possible, that i must delete the intire thread to really delete the messages, that just deleting individual texts still leaves them visible in the "People" contacts page options? And thanks for your response mate.
 
I honestly think she is puling a fast one on you somehow. That would be a huge security hole and someone else would of spotted it and been reported. I guess one thing you could check is make sure there isn't a setting that is archiving your texts. Or she has installed some type of spyware app on your phone.

There are also apps in the market for "secret texting" that you could try out.

Thanks, I will look into that, and as for pulling my leg .... she is definately NOT, she knew exactly what the text said, and it was something i was hidding from her. she wouldnt have ever guessed it.
 
She is getting them from your people list (contacts).

If she selects the contact and then at the bottom of the screen selects "text" it contains the full history of every text sent to that contact.

There is no way to erase this... It is a bug that HTC has yet to fix.

This is also why you contact size continues to grow....

The only way I know of deleteing it is to clear the contact data and reload your contacts.
