Root Ghost Notifications (Boost)

I've been getting tons of ghost notifications lately, where I get a notification sound and my screen blinks (Missed Message Flasher), but I don't have any texts or messages. This has happened to me with one (possibly both) of my previous Android phones, but it was never this frequent. Is anyone else having this same problem?

On a related note, I called Boost support about the issue and was told that it is fairly common with Android phones and that I should do a factory reset which would apply a software update. I'm skeptical that this is true, but I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens.

Its done that to me once, as a matter of fact last night. Another weird thing is my ringtone went off I have sent for emails and never got anything on my Gmail.

Do you have missed message flasher or a similar app on your phone?

Factory Reset will put your phone to the way it was when you got it out of the box.. So I do recommend backing up nay apps you would want to have reinstalled. Also since you are rooted you need to unroot first.

Ghost Notifications:

I had a similar issue and used air push detector to tell me which apps were causing the problem. After I uninstalled those apps I didn't have an issue anymore. Figure it is worth a try..
