Root giantpune's custom kernel

You downloaded a gingerbread kernel and installed it over you ICS kernel. The ICS kernel for our cm9 can already be oover clocked look under performance processor and over clock. This giantpune kernel is for Gingerbread. By the way we have jellybean Roms now.

Oh do I feel dumb! Thank you so much! Yeah as soon as I downloaded the ROM for ICS, I saw the JellyBean Rom was also stable on the Elite. xD I am afraid though it will drain my battery :/ OKay so all I have to do is set the maximum CPU frequency is 1612 MHz? I already see a difference :D

No problem. in ICS and Jellybean you can overclock to 1.8Gz now but it may or may not be stable for your LG OE. Also a CM10 kernel was released to allow undervolting so you might want to try that. You could as try setting it to another governor. Try SmartassV2
