Root .gif wallpaper/images

i edited one of my pics to make it animated, when i send to phone & look @ it in gallery it doesn't show animated just the still picture , i tried setting it as my wallpaper but it wont animate. how can i set as wallpaper & make it animate or is it impossible?

Android doesn't currently support .gif pictures as wallpapers, unless you get an app.

"Anim wallpaper" on the market should do.
