Root Ginger Villain 1.7 runing low space

I have installed this rom wich is realy fast but when i started to restore my apps backup using titaniumbackup my phone started to tell me that it have runed out of space.
I know that i should move the dalvik cache but should i do it before restoring and do i nedd to do it every time i instal an application??

Defrost's A2SD works easyer, you dont need to move anything, the script is doing everything for you.

I'm sure someone will jump in a correct me if i'm wrong here, but i was asking kinda the same the other day. Run the dalvik to sd script before restoring apps and you only need to run the script when you've wiped before flashing, although i'm sure there's no harm done if you were to run it each time you flash to be safe

I assume you have already formatted the SD card to ext3 partition.

You can move the cache before or after the restore.

Probably the apps you restore with TB end up on FAT32 partition. Use App2SD Free application to easily see if they are on SD card and move them to the phone's internal storage. You may have to restore the apps in small chunks.

Fixed it already ... i have moved the cache on sd an all the apps that i install now are going to my ext3 partition.
Have another issue ... :) cant change the wallpaper .. its just not changing when i select a new one :) maybe someone had this before me :)

Edit: Well i have another problem, rebooted and the phone is stuck on bootscreen :((

I think i will restore my defrost 6.1 backup and wait a few more iteratopns of gingervillain.

I don't know if you did a Wipe/factory reset and cache wipe before installing GV. That should have made the phone ready for a new ROM.
