Gingerbread 2.3.6 official update question...

So I was one of the lucky ones able to update my Infuse to 2.3.6....

Now I know that there isn't a way to Root it yet...or is there?

But my question is this....I read that blue tooth devices like the Wiimote and PS3 controller didn't work because of the Samsung Bluetooth stack...however everything I've read on some of the apps that actually run them say they work on all versions of Gingerbread....am I missing something here?

Look on xda, flash another kernel then come back, proving my whole point of just rooting in froyo in the first place. f you did not know how before, thanks to att you will be forced to now. And i do not think you are...

Screw at&t. It's obvious they have no desire to push out an update. If they did at this point, it would make people think twice about getting a new phone and then they would make less money.

So I went ahead and rooted mine and installed 2.3.6 myself with the Zeus rom from xda developers. It's freakin awesome! Now I have a kick butt phone that is faster and smoother with some nice extra features that 2.2 didn't have.

Yeah I rooted and flashed CM7...I love it myself....only problem is now my USB port isn't working so I can't ODIN and flash another ROM. :(

Totally agreed. If you guys want to have an ICS phone, just go with Zeus 6 and ICS theme. It pretty much acts and feels like 4.0. I would stick to it, but I always get video playback issues on custom ROMs, *sigh*
