Help Gingerbread 2.3.6 On kies

The Gingerbread 2.3.6 update is not showing on my kies, im still on 2.3.5 and under firmware on kies it tells me this is the latest :PDA:K16 / PHONE:K16 / CSC:K17 (02U)

Any ideas?

My advice is dont update it to firmware 2.3.6 -so that you wont get the error msg sd card remove unexpectedly. When im still at 2.3.5 this error dont show up.. but when i updated my fone to 2.3.6 this problem rises. Just stick to firmware 2.3.5 and wait for the 2.3.7
 
i updated to 2.3.6 and did not experience this problem. Maybe your SD card is loose that is why you encountered this problem.
 
ok. here i have updated to 2.3.6. it takes a lot of patience to update. a slightest move on ur phone kies hangs.

The Unexpected SD card errors is now fix with the 2.3.6 dXKK4 Dec update release via kies.

things I noticed after upgrade was that some icons were changed, (Dial pad icon, and memo icon)
and it got a REALLY good performance boost. fone and wifi becomes more faster
and it fixes the SD card problem.

Homescreens can now travel from first page to last page. (Ex. from page 1, swipe to the right to go to page 7). ^_^

>.< Just go to kies option or preference then "uncheck" let kies reside on PC's memory or RAM. After doing that kies will operate faster and update faster.

i also experienced the responsiveness of the software after firmware update. Lets hope samsung keeps this up.
 
Firmware is not updating thru kies...while installing its showing error"Firmware update has stopped working"...help me

I also facing same issue. May be samsung not release 2.3.6 for my country.
 
i can't update android 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 on my galaxy y...beacuse i get some error like this... (e:/error in tmp sideload package.zip)...how to fix it?please help me
 
My Samsung Galaxy Y S5363 runs on Gingerbread 2.3.6, in Samsung Kies it says
Your device does not support software upgrading via Kies
what shall I do??? Coz I rooted and then unrooted, now the phone does not detet my network and the wifi can't obtain my routers IP address.

having the same problem.. tried to replace sd card but did not solve..think we have to wait for update to 2.3.7
