as it seems they have already got a base model of 2.3 working quite well from what friends of mine who have tried this tonight have said i would say end of april maybe first week in may

How do you know the Galaxy S is getting 2.3 this month? They recently just released froyo, I highly doubt 2.3 is coming this month.

Man that's too long.....Galaxy S will get 2.3 in this month...

samsung is horrible with software updates, no way they gonna get it soon

even if they do it will be laggy crap

we are eagerly waiting for 2.3 for our DHD

I'll install it if other people will be guinea pigs I have 2.2.1 and have memory card problems and disappearing SMS' (though I've installed Handcent SMS now). Or maybe just best left as a curiosity?
