Gingerbread 2.3? :)

Any minute now :)

Of greater concern to me. Is the fact that nothing is wrong with my phone. Now what? :)

It's a very strange feeling for a captivate owner, isn't it?

Believe it or not (I'm shocked really) I just happened to get lucky and get a Captivate that had not one single problem.

What's so remarkable is I'm a tech guy and experienced, yet could not find one thing wrong with it. My GPS works, my Touch Wiz is amazing even though I prefer other launchers, the entire phone has been just fine since day one. No lag, very good speed, and a gorgeous display which personally I like better than the retina on my iPhone 4 (which I only have because of the nature of my work) Otherwise I would never buy or suggest an iPhone for anyone. The antenna design is just stupid and the overall amount of bugs are completely unacceptable (proximity sensor etc).

So anyway, two trouble free phones in a row is quite the pleasure... :)

I do agree that the Captivate was a great device, but when things started getting very aggrivating because of say the lag, the device turning itself off, etc.. I couldn't stand it, things were worse than ever before I went and bought my Inspire.

My phone when it received a call, would not ring until the very last ring. By then I cannot answer it and I get a missed call notification. Hell even when I'd call someone, about 80% of the time my phone would get stuck on a black screen and I'd hear nothing but silence. But, during that silence the phone would be ringing and the person would answer. So by the time the sound kicked in they were hanging up on me.
