gingerbread(android 2.3)

[hbimajorv]

anyone know when were getting it? and I know you need a 7 processor speed for flash and we only have a six but will gingerbread solve any of that?

[kahale]

no one knows for sure. i think lg has announced that the optimus line will eventually get gingerbread sometime in the future. as for the flash no. gingerbread will not solved that problem.

[jtcady]

I'm thinking in February or March.

[cavier]

I wonder if we get gingerbread, will it affect the optimus from being the mobile hot spot that it can be?

Any opinions?

Just wondering.

THanks!

I think feb or march is wishful thinking... Its prob going to be more towards May but at least your not dealing with Samsung. If you had one of their phones they would be promising you an update that they knew was never going to come out just to make you buy their phone

[mcclinsr]

I just found this update from gizmocrunch. Hopefully February. It'd be nice.

“LG Optimus S may be getting the Android 2.3 update as early as February.”

I won’t eat or sleep until it arrives.

[sonicbluemustang]

really wont be worth loosing sleep over, trust me.

[hbimajorv]

So where is it? I heard Feb but no gingerbread yet. Growing anxious
