Help Gingerbread & Apps on 4g

LFC958

Newbie
Have a very strange situation, having just purchased an ATRIX 4g & upgraded to G'bred, I am finding difficulty accessing ALL apps.
Upgrade was done via PC using motorola update software.

Whereas my Milestone has a pull up from the bottom of the phone & gives access to ALL the apps on the phone, my 4g on upgrade has lost this feature.

For example
- touch 4 squares in bottom left & you get popup menu
- touch manage apps & it shows the window with either downloaded, all, media area etc.

In here i can see ES Musica, True Country, Street view icons, but ttouching any of these only allows you to stop, uninstall etc

I have tried using the long touch to pop up - add to home screen - but none of the options availabe see the 3 apps named.

very frustrating - Any assistance appreciated.

P.S compared to the Milestone its very slim & fast ( have upgraded milestone to froyou using Motorola update software, will be keeping as a backup fone as its been a really solid reliable phone.

Welcome to Android and the Atrix 4G. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are trying to access all apps on the phone, you have to use the apps drawer. From there you can long press on any app and place on your home screen.

Cheers for the reply :)

Not a complete newbie to Android, have a Milestone & an Asus tablet with vegacomb, so already a fan of Android ;)

I am having difficulty finding the apps draw on gingerbread ( which I can find on my Milestone & tablet.)

Any further assistance would be gratefully accepted.
