Root Gingerbread keyboard port

Hey all,
Anyone using the Gingerbread keyboard port? I personally love the new layout, but I'm having an issue.
When I go to type, it will type a single letter twice every once in a while. For example, if I go to type "what are you doing?" it'll go, "wwhat are yyou doing?"
Anyone having the same problem?

I.have it. Looks nice but totally unusable for me.

Not having that specific issue though
