Root gingerbread keyboard with new cursor tabs

Does anyone know where to get the new gingerbread keyboard with the cursor tabs? Its the yellow cursor you see when you tap in the text field, allows you to move th cursor with much more accuracy. Its default on devices that come stock with gingerbread. anyone have any idea?

I believe you have to have a gengerbread rom, you can get just the keyboard for Froyo, but that feature is duilt deaper than the keyboard apk. check out the latest Cyanogen ROM or UD ROM if you are rooted

yea true, i know it comes with the GB roms, but recently i went with bugless beast due to some issues with GB roms...do you know if its possible to just download the actual GB keyboard with selection tabs included?

You can download the keyboard here > http://androidforums.com/droid-all-...load-gingerbread-keyboard-rooted-devices.html but as I said, the "Tab" portion(where you can move the curser easier and select text to copy and paste) is built deeper within the system than the keyboard apk. someone please correct me if I am wrong. good luck

^thanks for the link, but i already have a rom with that keyboard. I was specifically looking for the keyboard with selection tabs. I guess my only option is to actually install a gingerbread rom. Thanks though!
