Root gingerbread off screen animation?

I am using the sprint lovers rom and I love it, but I was wondering if theres a way to get the gingerbread off screen animation on my evo (the one that looks like an old school tv shutting off) while still using the sprint lovers rom. I know I can upload a gingerbread rom and then ill have it but I would REALLY like to keep the rom im currently using if all possible.

As it stands, I believe one of the CM ROMs and any of the 2.3/Gingerbread ROMs are your only options for that animation. I will say, however, that whomever figures out how to make that a flashable .zip will be a hero to a lot of people, myself included.

Welcome to the forums . At this time, I don't believe anyone has ported it over to anything other than Gingerbread. As you said yourself, you'll have to flash a GB ROM to use it. If you want to use it with Sense, you're most likely going to have to wait for an official release (assuming they don't remove it).

I dont think we will be able to get that until gingerbread is fully released..
