why would they give you a new phone becasue of a fixable software issue? :confused:

if its still broken when you get it,im sure a patch will follow soon after.

for those of you that want to stay on froyo,or revert back to froyo after the OTA, if you want to stay on a stock rom youll need to rename a file in system/etc/security in order to avoid the OTA taking you right back ;)

Merged the three threads together to try and keep things organized.

Nice to finally see Gingerbread released for the Thunderbolt.
 
Anyone having trouble with DL? I got it started....the DL crashed and now it tells me there is no update available...every time I try.

No problems here, although I did power cycle after the update as per the procedure outlined in the TM.
