Help Gingerbread problem: battery/clock apps don't update!!!

After upgrading to 2.3 on my DX, I noticed a major problem: my battery monitor application and clock/calendar widget no longer automatically update. I have to manually check the % left on my battery. I also have to manually change what time is on my clock widget. This is unacceptable. What happened? Is this a 2.3 problem or an app problem? Solutions or better apps?

I use Battery Indicator Pro and Digital Clock widget. Both are now functionally useless.

Have you tried uninstalling or reinstalling these apps?

Why don't you try Battery Monitor? It'll get you 1% battery increments. I don't use Batt Indicator Pro any more.

Worst case (not saying you need to do it now), you might have to do a factory reset.

i had the same issue with my BW clock and weather. It'd update, but not until the phone is awakened. Never could fix it (aside from flashing back to froyo)
