Root Gingerbread Status Bar Mod.

This package changes the status bar of Gingerbread theme (mainly the one in Velocity .4)

I thought that the status bar is a bit ugly just plain black and I liked the one on Punisher.

Basically it takes this:

To this:

Notice the gradient style and the small white line under the bar. I feel this creates better contrast.

This will NOT change the icons. Only the background.

This was a really simple Mod I did. I thought others might be interested so I will share it here.

Flash it using Clockwork or your Recovery.

It looks good and I like that you kept the green icons. The only thing I would suggest to make this theme perfect is to keep the transparent black menu popups - because they got reverted to the stock white after flashing this.

Other than that - good work!

Like innate024 said. Perfect besides that. I tried it and it looks nice but fix that and it will be perfect.

Edit: Is the black Menu from Velocity or from Punisher?

Velocity has the transparent black notification drop down, Punisher has the black menu popups.

Oh yeah I had to ask Blake how he did it. I think its somewhere in the XML files but Im not sure. Ill email him.

Current ROM Velocity 0.4 with GB theme am trying to flash this but it gives me an error E:Missing file : system/app/Browser.apk
E:Verification failed
any ideas?
