Gingerbread update coming in July 20th by requesting

I didn't see any way to get into the "Pilot Program". Any information on that?

The roll out till end of the year scares me. Why would it take so long to do an update?

Let's hope something becomes available. I don't really care for the ambiguous nature of T-Mobile's announcement- especially regarding the "pilot program". For them to "roll out" the app fully for all MT4G users through years-end is unacceptable. Put a link on the site and let us download it from our T-Mobile online account. Done deal.

I can't imagine why there would be a problem with that.
 
Even though, I'm in Cambodia. So there's no way that I can receive OTA update. Because I'm using the local Simcard not T-mobile. If you guys know anyway to download the update please let me know as well. Thanks

I found this link. I'm not sure of it works. Some people commented on Tmonews that it does and I'm tempted to try it.

Once it's done downloading rename it to PD15IMG.zip and place it on your SD card and NOT in a folder. Next power off your phone and turn it back on by holding down the down volume button and power button and this will reboot your phone into the bootloader screen. Now press the down volume button and your phone will load the file on your sd card and will prompt you to install and then when it is done press power to reboot and you have the latest update.
 
Your link to the XDA site works, but the link for the update on that site is broken. No workee. Guess I'll just wait.

i flashed it but i flashed back to 2.2.1 cause according to a source the lockscreen totally chnged, and on the xda its the same ol lockscreen from 2.2.1 plus this leaked version has Bugs ive heard... Someone who actually got the ota update needs to just share it
 
hey basscasey what state r u in??? cause im in indiana and i called customer support and she said she saw no update for the mt4g
