cm7 is out now. I think its still in beta, i have a version flashed on my phone, #30 i believe

A full release of CM7 is really what I'm waiting for. Unless a beta is pretty much ready for prime-time, I'm kinda beta-ed out right now... not much time to troubleshoot issues, and not much patience to wait for missing pieces that I want. CM has really spoiled me more than I thought with all the goodies you get.

Would you mind if I ask what issues with the beta you might be having, and is it missing anything?

nothing major, wireless tether is a bit buggy, but I just switch to easy tether if it gives me fits. Ive had the latset build, i think its 40 or 41 installed for a couple days with no major issues. if you have a couple days you can read thru the 100 or so pages on xda, or just read the last 20 for the latest info
 
I've been using CM7 for maybe a week . And am loving it , everything works so far except facebook picture sync isn't working for me but others aren't having a problem . I highly recomend it, very smooth and very fast
