gingerbread

There is already a Gingerbread ROM floating about for the G2X. It doesn't appear to be final (missing 1080p video and LG's camera app), but its apparently close. The final update will probably come around soon, and the G2X will probably be the first phone (other than the nexus series) to get 2.3.
 
why would you be screwed?? the phone was suppose to be released with gb, but we all know how t-mobile kind of sucks.
 
the rom that has been released is NOT the final release its quite buggy reading posts about it. also 2.3.4 is being found on Sprint phone already so T-mobile has got to be doing something soon.
 
i just meant screwed, as in i wouldn't be able to get it... but i've been talkin to someone who works for verizon, an i heard that there sopose to have it in a couple weeks, an that when t-mobile does come out with it that i can just upload it to the phone anyways
 
well this phone is a dual processor phone the only one so far so it will get all the upgrades at least for three months :)
 
I expect Gingerbread soon. And sometime down the road I think maybe Ice Cream Sandwich too. This phone should be up to it.
 
this phone once its dialed in with the little bugs will be incredible at least until the quad cores come out next year.
