Okay lately i have been hearing that the HTC Inspire is going to receive Gingerbread. What is Gingerbread exactly? People say it's and software update, but what makes it so great? What new features will it have or does it already have since other phones already have it. I keep hearing this software all the time for the Inspire but have not idea what it really is. I have also heard that the release data is set for June 27.

to be short and sweet it's an update that should increase the phones efficiency. tweaks to the UI make the phone perform much better. along with some aesthetic changes like the notification bar. i also heard that it will make battery performance much better.
and i hope we get this update soon, that would make a great phone even better.
