Gingerbread

We keep hearing all this about gingerbread helping reboots, but will it do anything for the battery life. My battery life still sucks and hasnt gotten any better. So will gingerbread help it any or just make it worse. Has anyone heard about anything about it?

Hopefully it will make our phones crap gold bricks before we take them back to Verizon.

If you have reboots, and Gingerbread resolves that Issue then I think your battery life will improve greatly. I don't know about you but the reboots are killing my battery. I have at least one a day, sometimes 4-5 when I'm in a certain part of town. It drains my battery pretty quickly.
