Gingerbread!

Got it this morning on the DX2, North Jersey. notice popped up, took about 20 min to download.. All seems to be working fine.

there's a public mirror on xda still. just download it to computer, rename to update.zip, throw on ext-sd and boot into stock recovery to flash. was pretty simple to do even though this isn't my phone

I flashed the update.zip file and its working great so far. I did need to perform a *228 option 2 to get 3g speed back to normal but that could just be the area I'm in (3g sucks where I am now). I'm just happy I can see the real % of my battery when plugged into usb now :).

Just got it today in Houston, really excited. Took about 20 mins. So far so good, everything seems much smoother now.

Received our update this morning. Didn't take that long to download and install was a breeze. Now just have to make sure all my old apps work.

Not looking good for me... On the phone with support. The update keeps failing. I even factory rest the phone first.

Just got the OTA software update to Gingerbread 2.3.3 yesterday evening on my droid x2. All seems to be running BLAZING fast now. Nothing special done, hit update, and then install. All applications, and media remained intact. However, I have discovered a BAD problem with TXT messages. Upon trying to type the txt message... the words are not appearing, and after each word, the keyboard disappears as if the phone is ready to send the message... PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS! I am a super-texter and I don't have the privacy sometimes needed to use the voice recognition to "type" txts. Please help. Thanks!

i had the same problem with the keyboard. I downloaded Better keyboard 8 from the market place.. Been fine ever since.

The solution to the stock multi-touch keyboard issue... go to manage apps>Multi-touch keyboard> clear data... your issue should then be resolved... I suppose everytime you run into this problem re-clear the data...
