Root Gingervillain 3.3: swype and poweramp

Hi all. I rooted for the first time last night and put gingervillain 3.3 on. I have a couple of issues I hope you can help with.

1. I can't get swype to work. I have it stored on the phone and have swype selected as my keyboard but nothing.

2. My poweramp widget will not load back up after rebooting the phone
I have to replace the widget each time.

3. I've just noticed. Launcher pro seems to keep going off and back to the normal rom screens.

Anyone know how I can sort these issues. Thanks.

You could try uninstalling Swype and then when you reinstall it the setup process, from what I remember, should allow you to set it as the keyboard and the input method.

For poweramp have you done a 'move to sd card'? If so you need to download the stand alone widget - not sure what problem is if you haven't as I use Go launcher myself

Thanks Sak01 - that worked a trick for swype. Only had swype a day and absolutely love it. How I've done without it on a toucscreen smart phone for nearly 18 months now is beyond me!

Going to have a play with poweramp now. It was on sd card but I moved it back to phone so I could use the widgets. Fingers crossed.
