Root GingerVillain 720p recording

So I'm sure I won't be the first one to ask but it seems that GingerVillain (CyanogenMod is probably the reason) does not support 720p recording. Now I was wondering if there is any way around this, perhaps a flash or two?

GingerVillain is heavily based upon CyanogenMod if I'm not mistaken. Is there no way at ALL to get 720p recording?

No gb aosp Rom has this yet

720p recording results in low quality videos on Desire due to low fps.
You will have much better videos if you use SD (480p) recording (standard on GV).

Depends on your class SD card. 720p is superb with me, just turn your ISO up and everything will be smooth.

Strange, I never could record good 720p videos on my Class 6 card (anything higher is limited by Desire anyway). This was especially bad in poor light conditions. I admit though, I didn't play with ISO settings (push it high and you get more granulation).
