Gio vs Optimus One?

Specs of the 2 phones seem the same and the prices are similar also. What would be some good reasons to choose the Gio over the Optimus one (or vice versa).

Gio has 800MHz processor, Optimus One has 600. Now that extra 800 really matters when you are running Android 2.2

The processor makes a huge difference. The Gio is significantly faster and more responsive in pretty much every way.

The Gio is a class above the Optimus One.
