Gizmodo's Essential Apps

Just looked at it. Solid start. My thoughts:

I prefer Seesmic over Twidroid. The interface is a lot nicer and easier to use. Plus Bit.ly support (if you use it.

My recommendations:

Meebo IM - My preferred all-in-one IMing
MotoTorch - Turns on the flash for your camera into a flashlight
Tip Calc - Calculates the tip
Battery Indicator - Puts a percentage battery in the status bar. The default battery display is NOT accurate
Dolphin Browser - Pinch and zoom and easier tab browsing
KeepPass Droid - Now just need a Dropbox app
gstrings - Niche, but great tuner

I've tried Dolphin Browser, twice. I still don't like it so uninstalled it again.

I would add Apps Organizer to the list.

How does Astro work as a task killer ? (unless you go in one by one and hit kill).

Otherwise, it's not a bad list. There are some alternative apps I prefer, but it's okay.
