Help Gmail address book?

How in the world do I find my Gmail address book? If I compose a new message I have no idea where my contacts are unless I know from memory.

You have a few options

Open your app draw, tap on contacts (or the phone icon and tap the contacts tab)

Or you can create a shortcut to a contact by long pressing an empty space on the home screen, following inductions (my relic memory fails me as I've not used touchwiz in eons) as to the exact tap by tap process.

In short. If you assign a picture to a contact. Anywhere you see that contacts picture, if you tap it you get a generic set of options based on the info assigned to that contact:
Phone numbers
Email addresses
Home addresses
Social apps etc etc

Once you have sent a text you'll have the text conversation listed on the message list page of the sms app.

Also, when you compose a email, just start typing the persons name (if thier email is saved in contacts) and it should come up with the persons name, less and less, the more letters u type in. Its pretty intuative.
I could be wrong but i dont think gmail has its own separate contacts list but itl remember people who have mailed you
