Help gmail address colors

why are the addresses of email senders different colors? when i open a email , next to the senders picture is the address, this is what im asking about. what do the different colors mean? thanks.

Not sure if this is what you mean or not, but when you get an email from someone in your "Favorites" list will have their addresses in red.

If you mean the email itself, Gmail has always used different colors to differentiate who is replying in the conversation. The first email is usually green, the second may be yellow, the third may be blue and so on...

yes, this is what im talking about. dumb question, is there a color guide?

I don't know if the colors are random but I have had these different colors:
green, orange, blue, red, black & pink(ish).
