GMail app on Evo

How do you select a contact(s) when composing a new email in the gmail app? I am able to choose contacts in the regular mail app, but not the gmail app, the gmail app only gives me the option to type in an email address, it does not give me the option to choose contacts. Thanks in advance.

Start typing in thier name and a dropdown menu will appear with thier address.

Thanks for the quick reply, I kept looking for a little contact button like the regular mail app has and couldn't find one so I just kept on using the regular email app. I guess it will be a bit easier to use the regular app to send emails that are directed to multiple people as I can just select multiple contacts at once instead of starting to type each of their names. Thanks again for the quick help.
