Help Gmail App - predictive text covers what you are trying to type!

When I am typing an email in landscape mode, the predictive text shows up right over what I am trying to type so I can no longer see what I am typing.

Anyone else? Any ideas how to reposition either the predictive text or the text I am typing?

Yes, I have that issue when in Landscape mode, but not in Portrait mode... haven't found a way around it, tried a few different keyboards and they all do it.

SwiftKey allows you to change the height of the keyboard. You can try that. Not sure about the HTC keyboard, but stock Android allows you to turn off predictive text in settings.
