Where can I set the Peak and Off Peak times for my Gmail app?

I don't want to be alerted to new emails overnight. I am not using the HTC Mail app, I am using the Gmail app. I can't for the life of me find how to do it. I don't see it under Gmail->Settings->... Please help.

I don't believe there is a setting for that in GMail. You would either have to:

1) change the sound settings on your phone at night
2) get a widget that controls the sounds with one click
3) use a different mail app - I use K9 and it has a setting for night mode
4) use an app like Tasker to set up a profile to control it automatically

Although Tasker is by far the best and most robust app for doing things like this, there is a learning curve to it. If you are not up for that, there is also Settings Profile Lite, which has a more user-friendly interface but it is not as thorough as Tasker.
