Help GMAIL app terminates unexpectedly

[tirthpandya]

Hi All,

I am facing a weird issue with GMAIL app on my HTC Wildfire. The GMAIL app simply doesnt run at all. This is happening since last one month. Sometimes suddenly a popup comes which says 'com.android.gmail" needs to quit.

I believe re-installing the app should solve the issue. But in the application manager I dont see an option to Uninstall GMAIL.

Can anyone please advise as to what should be done. I keep missing a lot of important emails due to this issue.

Appreciate a prompt reply.

Thanks,
Tirth

You might make certain you are still able to log into your gmail account.
I wanted to pop in and say hi and welcome you to AF. Good luck with your problem.
