Help GMail App won't work

My GMail app on my DX won't open. Sometimes it opens for half a second and then closes and returns to my home screen. I don't know how to reload the app since it's not in the market. It came preloaded on the phone.

Anyone else having this problem and how do I remedy it?

OK the following fix my issue.

settings>accounts>manage accounts>all>Gmail>clear data.

Go to your Gmail icon an open Gmail. it will then reload your info and you should be good

I reinstalled Google Talk + I cleared the cache/data and that fixed it for me.
