Gmail Attachments

I have noticed recently that I am unable to attach files to emails. When did this get removed? I distinctly remember being able to send a friend a .zip or .img files months back. Can anyone help?

Hmm, yeah, it gives me the option to attatch a pic or vid but thats it. I dont use email much tbh so i duno if its always been like that. Suppose youd have to use like a dropbox link instead mate

EDIT If u use ES file explorer and long press on a zip file then hit "share" gmail comes up as an option :thumbup:

Didn't notice. This does kind of suck. You think they would at least have an option to attach a Google drive file/link.

I guess that means we are stuck with using the universal share button in other apps and choosing the gmail option for now.
