Help Gmail Contacts Syncing

I only want to sync certain groups from my gmail and not all my contacts.

I've followed this site: Tips: trim your bloated contacts list with a custom sync group | andrew | Androinica

But how come I can't get "edit sync groups" to show up?

Anyone know why or know of an app that can do the trick?
