I am probably doing something wrong or have something set wrong. I am not getting notification of gmail messages either by vibrate/tone or by it showing on any notification bar. I have checked to see if they are set correct in settings and it appears so. I am using the stock settings currently.

Ok I see I had it changed to silent. I wish it would show a number of messages on the app for new messages instead of the notification bar at the top that is so small i hardly notice it.
