Help Gmail last account activity details

Is it normal for the Gmail last account activity to show an IP form a state that is a few hundred miles from me? Should I be worried or is it completely normal for my IP to bounce from different towers like that?

It has always originated from my home state, yesterday was the only time I ever noticed I was using an IP from another state.

no, that isnt normal. i would change my password if i were you.
