Gmail message count app

[paulw035]

Hi there, does anyone know of an app that will give you an unread message count for Gmail? I can't find anything or any settings in the gmail app that will do this, I can't believe this wouldn't be available.

Nova Launcher can do this, but if you're looking for just an app there are a lot out there. Here's one for example:

Thanks Breadnatty08. I have tried this but it's only a widget so can't be dropped into a folder. I'd prefer an app if you know of one. I'd prefer to stick with touchwiz too as I don't get on with launchers.

Use the galaxy email app that comes with the phone! If you don't like the interface just use it as a notification.

I use that one for work email, can it be separated somehow to show how many are in each email client?

If I'm not mistaken, it shows a combined total.
I stopped using it ages ago and only use gmail so like I said, I could be mistaken.
One way to find out, add an email and see what it does.

You are correct, it gives a combined total. I want to be able to forget about the work email at weekends though. I've tried using another app for my work email and have the Samsung email for Gmail but couldn't make the work email work with any other app. So frustrating.
