Help Gmail Messages Cut Off

If I have several messages in a thread, I am not able to see the entire message. Basically the most recent message is truncated and I have to search all previous messages to try and understand the thread.

Is there a way to show the entire text from previous messages while ready the current message in the thread?

Looks like its a known Android issue: Android Gmail app is truncating message history on reply and forward - Google Mobile Help

Only way to get around it is to go on the web and use gmail
