Help Gmail - No Connection

been working like a dream for first few weeks. Today my gmail went belly up.

It says "No Connection" with a retry button next to it... but, it won't load. It has updated my inbox and at the top it says the right number of unread emails... but i cannot get it to revive. tried reloading app. tried turning off/on call. nada.

any help out there?

Settings -> applications -> manage applications. Look for gmail and gmail storage, open it and "clear data". It just worked for me.

well... i went back in and tried this again. not sure if this (or something else) did it... but, i'm back in business. thx.
