I have gone through android support forums for months now and find the usual reboot/sync settings/clear cache/factory reset answers for getting notifications on android devices but my issue seems to stem directly from gmail itself. While I have tried, in vain, every setting in gmail as well I am simply not getting notifications. I have set other account to these devices (the S3 and T2/7) and those account get notification yet my personal account isn't. As I've had this account before I had my Droid it's pretty disturbing that I'm not getting notifications from it. The email tests push instantly from my work email account to both devices but no notification.
