Help Gmail notifications

After system update to nougat on HTC 10, I'm not receiving gmail notifications. Does someone have a solution to this problem?
 
In Gmail/Settings<account>/... ensure that Notifications are enabled

In Settings/Notifications/Gmail.... check the options depending on personal preference.
