gmail or mail app?

I use GMAIL setup as Exchange so I get push through the regualr mail client, I need to be able to forward emails and you can't do that with the gmail app. I am having a problem getting it to work properly with attachments though. PDF's half the time won't download or else they will download and then say they can't open because they are corrupt and then occasionally they actually open up and work. I can't really figure out what's causing it or how to fix it yet.

Why can't you forward emails with the gmail app?? Open the email, scroll down and press forward.

Some PDFs don't open in the PDF reader that comes with the phone. That's not a function of the mail client. On all mobile platforms, PDF readers are limited and crappy, IMO.

Personally, I like the features of both clients, so I have one set to push mail, and the other on manual, for the same account. This way, if I need the features of the other, I simply open it and it syncs, and I do what I have to do in that client.

If you meant autoforwarding, you should set that up on the gmail site. You can use it on your EVO's browser. You may have to click on "classic" to get out of mobile gmail.

Hope this helps.

I love the gmail app. Does deleting your gmail account from the HTC mail app do anything to affect your phone profile, like google checkout, or will i be good to go??=
