Help Gmail push notifications down for you?

I havent had auto notifications for almost a month now, and after reading comments in the market it looks like its a pretty common occurrence. I have to manual refresh about twice in order to see new email messages. Im on the droid incredible.


anyone else? I dont see this issue getting much coverage. I couldnt even find a bug report thread on it.

I haven't had a problem. Is your system up to date? In accounts & sync have you reviewed your account settings? Is it possible you've unchecked something accidentally?

A few of times in the past half year, I noticed the push notifications were not happening or were delayed. I attribute it to some network down time with the service which is expected.

If it has been happening for over a month, then it sounds like there is an issue with the phone or configuration setting.
